Police have launched a murder investigation following a fatal shooting on Watercourse Road in West Bay late Monday morning.
Officers were dispatched to the scene around 11:20 am after the 9-1-1 Communications Centre received reports of gunfire at a residential address. When officers arrived, they found a man unresponsive. He was later pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim has not yet been formally identified, but police say they have notified the family of a suspected victim. A trained family liaison officer has been assigned to support them during the investigation.
Two men, aged 38 and 45 – both from West Bay – have been arrested on suspicion of murder. They remain in custody as the investigation continues.

The RCIPS has opened a “major incident room” to assist with the case and is urging anyone with information to come forward.
Members of the public can contact the Major Incident Room directly at 649-2930.
Anonymous tips can also be submitted to the RCIPS Confidential Tip Line at 949-7777, online at www.rcips.ky, or through Cayman Crime Stoppers via their website or mobile app.
Police say further updates will be provided as the murder investigation develops.
