Police are searching for armed robbers following a string of incidents over the long weekend.
The first occurred on Friday, 7 Nov., just after 2pm, when two men, one armed with what appeared to be a handgun, attempted to rob a business on Commercial Way in George Town.
The staff member on duty escaped to a secure room and the pair fled empty-handed.
Police responded to a similar incident at a business on Kennedy Drive, George Town shortly afterwards, where two men, one with what appeared to be a handgun, robbed the occupants of cash.
It was also reported that the suspects attempted to rob a member of the public who was walking along Kennedy Drive near the business before leaving on a motorcycle.
The two were said to be masked and wearing high-visibility construction-style shirts.
Police, who appealed for witnesses, said no one was injured as a result of the robberies.
Police are also hunting a masked man armed with a machete, who robbed a business on Watercourse Road, West Bay, on Sunday, 9 Nov. at about 7:15pm.
The suspect, who was wearing a black jacket and red shorts, escaped with cash, then fled the location in white coloured vehicle.
Police searched the area, but did not locate the man.
