Police are searching for the driver of a white car after a cyclist was knocked off their bike in a hit-and-run at a roundabout.

The incident happened at about 6:20am on Saturday, 10 Jan. on a roundabout on Rex Crighton Boulevard, near the junction with Chime Street.

Police said the cyclist, who did not appear to have been seriously injured, was tended to at the scene by paramedics before being taken to the Anthony S. Eden Hospital for further treatment.

A police spokesman said inquiries into the crash continued and appealed for witnesses to contact officers at 649 6254.

He added the make of the car had still to be established.
