Police are searching for the driver of a car that struck a pole at a pedestrian crossing then hit a fence and trees at a primary school.
Police said the driver of the car, a Honda Fit, abandoned the vehicle after the crash near the Joanna Clarke Primary School on Shamrock Rd in Savannah.
The incident happened at about 11:40pm on Sunday, 11 Jan.
A police spokesperson said, “The matter is currently under investigation.”
