Caribbean Utilities Company, Ltd. (CUC) announced that applications are now open for its 2026 Scholarship Programme and Summer Vocational Internship Programme. These initiatives reflect CUC’s ongoing commitment to education, career development and building a sustainable future for the Cayman Islands.
The Scholarship Programme provides financial support for Caymanian students pursuing associate’s, bachelor’s or master’s degrees at accredited universities in fields vital to CUC’s operations and the wider energy sector. Areas of study include engineering, electrical technology, mechanical maintenance, information technology, occupational safety, health and environment, regulatory and sustainability, corporate governance, finance, human resources and customer service.
Scholarship awards are valued at:
- Up to CI$40,000 per year for bachelor’s or master’s degrees
- Up to CI$20,000 per year for associate’s degrees
The Vocational Internship Programme offers paid summer placements for students aged 15 and older, providing hands-on experience in disciplines critical to the energy industry.
