The Department of Environmental Health bulk waste team will be rolling into Bodden Town on Monday to commence collections in the community.

With the completion of the Department of Environmental Health bulk waste collection exercise, officials are reminding the public to not to litter and to take their waste to the landfill for proper disposal.

Garbage collectors have had to return five times to the same site in West Bay to remove household items and other large pieces of rubbish that has been dumped by the roadside, more than a month after the Department of Environment Health finished its seasonal bulk waste collection in the district.

The Department of Environmental Health has cleared 333 tons of waste so far as part of its annual bulk waste removal campaign.
