After seven weekends of action, the 2025 Youth Flag Football League has concluded.

Flags waved and cleats were firmly secured for the kickoff of the 2025 Cayman Islands Flag Football Association summer premier league.

In a few days, Jorel Bellafonte will make footballing history in Cayman as he tries out for a coveted position on Italian football team Parma Calcio 1913, a professional football club currently playing in Italy’s second tier level.

Week 6 of the Cayman Islands Flag Football Association league kicked off Saturday afternoon, Aug. 11, at the Ed Bush stadium with teams determined to maintain or improve their current positions in the league standings.

The Cayman Flag Football Association witnessed one of the longest game days in its history last Saturday with four out of five games ending tied in overtime.
