For the first time, Camana Bay Cinema is going to be showing live games from the FIFA World Cup 2026, meaning that every kick, card and penalty of the matches shown will be seen in all their high-definition, big-screen glory. 

With Christmas nearly upon us, it seems only fitting to have a Culture at the Cinema which is all about flights of fancy and wonder. The much-beloved J.M. Barrie tale “Peter Pan” is brought to life on the British stage, and through the magic of technology, can be viewed as a recording of the live production at Regal Camana Bay on Nov. 18.

This is an interesting few weeks at the cinema, as the end of October tends to bring the horror flicks to the big screen, yet Thanksgiving and Christmas films creep into theaters in early November.

Cinema goers aged 18 years and older can watch a screening of the world-class theater production of “Jane Eyre” this weekend.

It can’t be a coincidence that the film “How to Be Single,” starring four top comedic actresses, including Rebel Wilson, opens the same weekend as Valentine’s Day. If that touches a raw nerve or you’re looking for something different, there is much to keep you entertained at the cinema this month.
