Former political candidate Errington Albert Webster is scheduled to be sentenced on Tuesday, March 6, following his convictions last year on three counts of indecent assault and one count of gross indecency, all involving a girl in her early teens.

Errington Albert Webster appeared in Summary Court on Tuesday, when he elected Grand Court as the venue for charges of gross indecency against him to be heard.

A video purporting to show a man’s alleged indecent conduct with a child has not yet been received by the defendant’s attorney, Magistrate Philippa McFarlane was advised on Wednesday.

Errington Albert Webster, 54, was arrested Sunday on suspicion of indecent assault and gross indecency with a minor in connection with a videotaped incident that was distributed last week on social media.
