Caymanian student Jesse Jackson is riding a wave of success after his team clenched the top prize at the 9th Intelligence Hunt project competition in Turku, Finland earlier this month.

The hard work on high seas is finally paying off for Jesse Jackson. Jackson, who represented Cayman in sailing in the Pan American Games earlier this summer, took a victory at Abanca Sailing Week in Spain last week in the Laser Standard category.

Cayman’s Jesse Jackson waited for two and a half days to compete in his first sailing race at the Pan Am Games.

Cayman sailor Jesse Jackson spent part of his Christmas break catching the wind off the water in the northern Adriatic Sea where he participated in the Laser Europa Cup, Croatia, Dec. 27-31.
