Kevie-Ann Peirre of Bodden Town was crowned the new Miss Teen Cayman Islands over the weekend. It was 17-year-old Miss Peirre’s second time entering the pageant and she took full advantage of her experience to wow judges and earn votes.

Brains and beauty helped Kevie-Ann Peirre beat five contenders to the throne to be crowned Miss Teen Cayman Islands at the Lions Centre on Saturday night. The 17-year-old from Bodden Town will receive a four-year scholarship from the Ministry of Education.

Six young women are vying for the title of Miss Teen Cayman in the 37th annual competition on Aug. 26. The event at the Lions Centre features the theme “Young Women in a Changing World.”
