Brush fire in Lower Valley
Teams of firefighters were fighting a brush fire on land off Pedro Castle Road in Lower Valley Wednesday. Fire officers from Central and Frank Sound fire stations were dispatched shortly before 2:30pm, and additional off-duty personnel were called in to assist the firefighting efforts.
