Court rejects appeal of armed robber who held up Czech Inn
Court of Appeal judges have dismissed an application by Odain Lloyd Ebanks to appeal his sentence and conviction for his involvement in an armed robbery of the Czech Inn restaurant in Bodden Town and for shooting at police officers during the getaway.
Grand Court cases adjourned
Evidence and arguments concluded last week in the trial of Odain Lloyd Ebanks, charged with robbery and possession of an unlicensed firearm. Mr. Ebanks had elected to be tried by judge alone and Justice Marlene Carter said she would hand down her verdict on Friday, Oct. 12.
Trial date set for Bodden Town robbery, firearm
Odain Lloyd Ebanks, 23, pleaded not guilty in Grand Court on Friday to five charges arising from a robbery in Bodden Town earlier this month followed by an incident involving police in Prospect.
