In Cayman, various thrift shops sell second-hand items to raise funds to support their causes. It’s a win-win as those looking to downsize or declutter have an opportunity to give back to the community by donating unwanted items that are simply taking up space in their home.

Police arrested a 32-year-old man on suspicion of arson after a residence in which 12 people were living was destroyed by fire Tuesday. The suspect was a resident of the property, police said.
