This month’s offering from the U.K.’s National Theatre Live is the critically acclaimed comedy from Tom Stoppard, “Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead.” For one night only – May 20 – theater fans can head to Regal Cinemas in Camana Bay to watch the live recording of the new production.

Regal Cinemas’ new VIP Auditorium theater opened this week, offering incredibly comfortable recliner seats, a state-of-the-art surround-sound system and an ultra-high resolution screen. The VIP theater at Regal Camana Bay Stadium 6 had its official opening on April 1 with a screening of the latest Marvel’s X-Men movie, “Logan,” and then opened to the public on Thursday.

Movie lovers will have the chance to take the cinema experience home thanks to a free theater seat giveaway by Regal Cinemas. To accommodate installation of VIP seating, the cinema will be removing 150 of its chairs and is offering them to the public.

There are already Christmas items in the shops and festive ads on the television, now that the holiday season is near. The local calendar is filling up with events guaranteed to get people in the holiday spirit, beginning with the Christmas tree lighting at Camana Bay on Saturday.
