Topic: Roald Dahl

Young school-age poets took some of Roald Dahl’s “Revolting Rhymes” and ran with them, putting their own ending to the poems as part of a Literary Month competition in September. The winners of the competition were announced this week.

The first delivery of Roald Dahl books arrived at George Town Primary School on Tuesday morning, courtesy of Camana Bay and Books & Books. In all, 120 Dahl books are being donated to all 15 public primary and secondary schools in Cayman.

Camana Bay will be celebrating the 100th birthday of renowned children’s author Roald Dahl through September, which is designated Literacy Month.

Consider this editorial not as polite applause for the good people at Camana Bay for their upcoming celebration of “Literacy Month.” Consider it a standing ovation!
