Police Constable Clifford Garcia, Sergeant Cornelius Pompey and other RCIPS officers joined residents of Hopewell Drive, off Will T Drive, to launch the Neighbourhood Watch Scheme on Saturday.

Although officials were still investigating the incident, Cayman Islands petroleum inspectors confirmed that the site of a massive fire in Savannah Meadows last week was “not on the radar” of local fuel and gas regulators before Wednesday.

Cayman Islands Chief Petroleum Inspector Duke Munroe confirmed Thursday that his agency would be reviewing a large container fire in the Savannah Meadows area.
