The Rev. Ferdinand Nicholls, who has been instrumental in the production of Cayman Singing Christmas Tree, has been appointed peace ambassador and international governor in his home country of Barbados by the Academy of Universal Global Peace USA.

The family-friendly event, free to the public, takes place Saturday, Nov. 24, and Sunday, Nov. 25.

For Pastor Torrance Bobb, it was the elegance and style of Elsa Gordon that first caught his eye at the Pentecostal Tabernacle Choir. For her part, Elsa was swept off her feet by his nice manners and kind ways. But it is faith, love and family that have kept them together for 50 years.
