Cayman Prep students visit London

Thirty pupils from Cayman Prep & High School visited the Cayman Islands Government Office in London on Friday, 4 February, as a part of a week-long visit to London.

The students and their teachers and helpers were hosted to lunch in the Office. Mary Chandler-Allen, Deputy Representative, explained the role of the UK Office, and Don McDougall, Regional Manager (Europe) for Department of Tourism and Charles Parchment of the Cayman Islands Investment Bureau (London) also described the workings of their respective offices. Lunch was followed by a tour of the Houses of Parliament.

This was the fourth successive year that the UK Office has assisted in arranging the Prep School’s educational trip to London. This year Kate Kandiah and Caroline Key helped to coordinate a busy week for the students, which included visiting many of the of London’s famous landmarks and places of interest.
