Young and old alike huddled around the Scouts campfire Saturday night in an atmosphere of cheerfulness and togetherness.
The social culminated the week-long schedule of activities enjoyed by the Cayman Islands Scouts Association.
Held at the Sav/New playing field, it provided the opportunity for young Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and adults to showcase their creative abilities in drama, skits, music, songs, storytelling and whatever talent they had.
Lighting the fire and declaring the proceedings open was Scout junior leader Shawn Cowen from the George Town division.
Executive Commissioner Winston Hale encouraged those gathered to enjoy the fire, which was symbolic, of the warmth and friendliness within the Scout movement
He also cautioned the young people from the different Scout sections to stay on course.
