All fired up

All Fired Up, a pottery and mosaic studio that offeres fun, educational recreation time for children and adults is back.

The store is located beside the Work of Arts in the Grand Harbour Centre.

Arts and crafts teacher Allison Taylor says the classes are a means of stimulating imagination and creativity, which can be enjoyed with your children.

It is fun, easy and a great way to relax.

Young Kennedy Pope said: ‘It is my second time at the studio and I just love it. I like painting the pottery with my own designs.’

Using a little imagination, the children can put their own designs on ceramic pieces.

The final result will be a piece of art that can be displayed in your office, at home or given to a friend.

Fired Up’s programs offer fun for both the artistic and the artistically challenged.

The playful workshop is also a great stress-reducer.

Fired Up provides all the materials needed in the workshop (tiles pottery pieces, tools, firing and glazes). They also finish each piece with glazing and firing. When pieces are ready, participants are given a call, approximately 10 days to 14 days after their workshop.

Come April the studio will also offer painting classes. At the present time, participants enjoy two-hour sessions. Studio hours are Monday to Saturdays, 10am to 6pm, with adult classes on Monday and Tuesday nights.
