Fashion Paradise last Friday night was a sporty event.
The show, held in the courtyard of the Paradise Restaurant, showcased models from Cayman, Ireland, Columbia, Venezuela, Honduras, Cuba and Jamaica.
On the catwalk, models appeared in sporty, casual and tropical wear, all available from Island Style, Tropical Oasis and Hott.
The event’s highlight was undoubtedly the stage presence of young Janette.
She strutted down the runway with some real GQ- style poses igniting the audience into cheers and shouting of ‘you go there girl’ and ‘you are the best.”
The only male model in the show, which Emcees Janska and Sonia said was from Spain, took awhile to make his entrance but after overcoming his stage fright, made a grand entrance in sporty casual wear.
Other models sauntered down the catwalk in shorts with midriff blouses, floral-printed skirts, print dresses and wraps arounds accompanied by straw hats and bags.
Some attendees enjoyed the festive atmosphere while others dined on succulent lobster chowder, pasta and steaks.
The fashion show event was sponsored by Cayman distributors Ltd.
