The fundraising efforts of the National Recovery Fund were rewarded in a big way recently when Bank of America recently donated US$100,000.
The funds were presented by Managing Director Garry Crossan to Governor. Bruce Dinwiddy and trustees of the fund at a recent meeting.
‘Bank of America Trust and Banking Corporation (Cayman) Limited as the administrator to the Joseph S. Stauffer Foundation, of Canadian origin, is delighted to donate these funds to the National Recovery Fund to assist in the completion of its programme to help those who are most in need in our Islands at this time,’ Mr. Crossan said.
The National Recovery Fund, which has been merged with the CIDB’s Housing Recovery Grant, continues to appeal for donations from local businesses and individuals, to continue its programme of housing assistance to the most needy.
