Cable and Wireless employees observed the Grand Cayman Toastmasters Club when the group held its weekly meeting at the company’s One Technology Square location.
At the suggestion of Toastmasters member Andy White, a C&W employee, the group conducted a condensed version of its regular meeting to showcase the Toastmasters experience, according to a Toastmasters press release.
‘Toastmasters meetings are geared towards getting the ordinary person to understand the importance of communication and some techniques that can be used to overcome stage fright as well as sound message delivery,’ said Club President George R. Ebanks.
The club’s weekly one-hour meetings begin at 6pm at the Woods Furniture & Design conference room.
