Dion Bodden has joined Deloitte’s Enterprise Risk Services group as a risk consultant.
The fast-growing group is under the direction of Senior Manager Jeremy Smith and Michael Pilling, partner responsible for ERS.
Mr. Bodden graduated with a bachelor of arts in business administration from Saint Thomas University, Miami, with a major in finance and a minor in international business. He brings more than four years experience in fund administration to the group, having previously worked with one of the industry’s leading offshore fund-administration firms in Cayman, according to a Deloitte press release.
He holds a seat on the executive board of the Cayman Islands Overseas Students Association.
As a consultant with Enterprise Risk Services, Mr. Bodden will specialize in risk management for the off-shore financial industry.
Since joining Deloitte, he has assisted in the evaluation of system and business controls, and has worked with financial auditors to provide risk assessments of financially significant operational controls and procedures
Mr. Smith said Mr. Bodden’s appointment would boost the group’s efforts.
