The Cayman National Cultural Foundation and the National Gallery are inviting visual artists to submit original works for donation to CARICOM’s permanent display at its new Turkeyne, Guyana, headquarters.
CARICOM member states will submit works for selection, and Cayman is seeking inclusion in the headquarters display.
The final selection of pieces to be donated will be made by a team of artists assembled by the CNCF and the National Gallery, but final placement will be confirmed by the CARICOM head office. The event offers artists an important opportunity, and a tremendous honour if their work is selected.
CNCF Artistic Director Henry Muttoo encouraged all local artists to submit work for consideration to [email protected] or [email protected] .
Submissions should be a good-quality digital photograph, complete with media and size, and are due by 1 July.
