Cayman Brac looks set to get at least one sitting of the Legislative Assembly per year.

Leader of Government Business Kurt Tibbetts told the House on Monday that the government would support the idea.

Mr. Tibbetts was replying to a question from Sister Islands MLA Julianna O’Connor-Connolly who asked if the government would support the holding of at least one such sitting per year.

Mr. Tibbetts said he could not say at present when such a sitting would occur but added that he would undertake to raise the matter with the Legislative Assembly’s business committee and the Speaker.
