Deloitte recognizes 14 staffers

The partners of Deloitte recently announced that 14 members of staff are being recognised for their performance at a consistently high level within their technical fields and for outstanding client service, by receiving promotions following internal staff reviews.

Promoted to director are Caymanians Mr. Mark Rutkowski and Mr. David Smailes. Mr. Rutkowski is the firms’ financial controller and head of the Internal Finance Department.

He has been with the firm for more than 14 years and leads a team of six staff members.

Mr. Smailes has been with the firm for more than 12 years and is the head of the firm’s Information Technology Department. He also leads a team of six staff members.

Promoted to senior manager are Karen Kerpan, Odette Sampson and Derek Mendez.

Both Ms Kerpan and Ms Sampson work within the firm’s Assurance & Advisory Services (Audit) department.

Mr. Mendez is a member of the firm’s Enterprise Risk Services department, where he specialises in System Project Assurance.

Kevin Huys and Janelle Mills are promoted to Manager.

Mr. Huys is a member of the firms’ Assurance & Advisory Services (Audit) department. Ms Mills is with the firm’s Enterprise Risk Services group and specialises in Internal Audits.

Alexander Hamilton, Jon Brosnihan and Ben Adams are promoted to assistant manager.

Mr. Hamilton is a member of the firms’ Marketing & Business Development team, Mr. Brosnihan is with the Assurance & Advisory Services (Audit) department, and Mr. Adams is in Accounting Services.

Promoted to senior consultant is Dion Bodden of the Enterprise Risk Services team.

Two Nicole’s are promoted to senior administrator: Nicole Coe, who is a member of the firm’s Marketing & Business Development team and Nicole Ebanks who works in the Financial Advisory Services department.

Promoted to administrator are Germaine Ebanks and Steven O. Ebanks. Both Ms Ebanks and Mr. Ebanks work in the Internal Finance Department.

Young Caymanian Roshenara Khan was promoted to administrator within the Risk Management department, and Altia (Debbie) Seymour was promoted to Assistant Administrator within the firms’ Operations Department.
