104.1FM thanks emergency group

HOT 104.1 FM has given radio station gift bags to the Emergency Communications Centre staff as a show of thanks for all of their hard work.

The Emergency Communications Centre hosted a staff appreciation retreat and refresher training workshop 21 and 22 July. This event offered a chance to thank the staff and renew staff certifications.

‘The staff who remained with 911 following Hurricane Ivan worked extremely hard. Some still have not had a vacation since Ivan. This event was one way to show appreciation and to thank staff for their dedication to duty and loyalty to the community,’ said Juliette Gooding, manager of the Emergency Communications Centre.

HOT 104.1 Morning Personality Orville Daniels stopped by the event to thank the Emergency Communication Centre staff and deliver HOT 104.1 FM gift bags containing towels, T-shirts, water bottles, and other items.
