Car dilemma

The Government’s Chief Information Officer Patricia Ebanks has issued a call to people who have derelict cars near their houses to expedite their disposal and bring back the beauty of Grand Cayman.

I went to the Department of Environmental Health at the landfill who informed me that the derelict vehicles are not being accepted at the George Town landfill and then referred me to MC Restoration on Sparky Drive, who then advised me that Government has stop them from accepting any vehicles. So what do we do with the vehicles?

When ever we import a car we have to pay CI $250 for a disposal fee. What is being done with this money? I would like to know where I can dump my vehicle, or is the $250 included in Government picking up and disposing of
the vehicle?
