The Queen’s Baton Relay made its way to the Cayman Islands this past weekend.
Australian members of the Commonwealth Games team brought the baton to the Caymans, the 41st stop for the relay.
This Queen’s Baton Relay is the largest and for many countries, it is the first time the baton will be received.
While in the Cayman Islands the bearers of the traditional symbol were treated to island fare such as turtle, cassava, fish and plantain.
The Queen’s Baton Relay is the precursor to the Commonwealth Games, which will be held in March in Sydney, Australia.
