Firearm offence
On Thursday a 36-year-old Caymanian male was stopped with an imitation firearm in his bag whilst attempting to go through the metal detector at the Court House in George Town.
The male told security officers that he had the imitation firearm in his bag. They alerted the police officer that was on duty at the Court and he was subsequently arrested.
The matter is under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Department at George Town Police Station.
Arrests
On Thursday a Caymanian male was arrested in the West Bay area on suspicion of robbery and possession of cocaine.
On Thursday a 37-year-old Jamaican male was arrested for giving a false name to police.
Police arrested a 36-year-old Caymanian male on Thursday for breach of bail and theft.
