East End has a new Neighbourhood Watch.
The programme was launched on Collier’s Road by Constable Lenford Butler, Community Beat Officer for the East End District.
‘The residents took the initiative and requested that a Neighbourhood Watch be implemented to fight and reduce crime in the area,’ Const. Butler said in a press release.
Other districts interested in forming a Neighbourhood Watch should call the Community Policing Department on 949-4222.
