I suspected that the new police commissioner would receive heat from Caymanians for being an expat and not being local.
Although I had hoped that he would have received a reasonable amount of time to judge the reorganization and to give his methods a fair chance to succeed.
It has saddened me that the attacks have started and some want things back the way they were.
I believe that it is only a matter of time before the crime in Cayman produces the same type of headline attention as was recently enjoyed by Aruba and that serious tourism losses will result.
Unless people support law enforcement in this country crime will win.
