Man arrested for burglary

Police report

Police have arrested a 35-year-old male on suspicion of aggravated burglary. The 911 Emergency Communication Centre dispatched officers to Artimust on Fort Street in George Town after receiving a call of an alarm sounding.

The male was arrested at the scene by officers.

The Criminal Investigation Department at George Town Police Station is dealing with the investigation.


A three vehicle accident near Jose’s Gas Station on Crewe Road was attended by the police on Monday.

The driver of one of the vehicles, an 18-year-old girl, was arrested for careless driving, no insurance and no vehicle licence.

The driver of one of the other vehicles was a 32-year-old pregnant woman. She was treated by paramedics at the scene and was not taken to hospital for treatment.

Two of the vehicles received major damage and one had minor damage.


Police on Cayman Brac arrested a 19-year-old Caymanian man on Monday night.

The 911 Centre received a call that a young woman had been assaulted.

The victim was transported to the Faith Hospital for treatment.
