Spirit Airlines has announced sale fares in celebration of its new service to Grand Cayman which starts today.
Spirit’s fares to its hub in Fort Lauderdale start at US$69* each way including taxes and fees. Fares must be purchased on its website, spiritair.com, by today for travel 10 February through 16 March 16, states a press release.
‘Some may think it’s unbelievable or too good to be true. But it’s absolutely true that Spirit starts service this Thursday with great low fares, new planes and a new spirit of flying that we’re thrilled to share with the people of the Cayman Islands,’ said Barry Biffle, Chief Marketing Officer of Spirit Airlines.
It is the policy of Cayman Airways to match all sales put on by competitor airlines.
Spirit will start service from Grand Cayman non-stop to Fort Lauderdale with connecting service to 10 cities in the United States. Spirit will serve the market with new Airbus, A319 equipment. Spirit’s A319s hold 138 all leather seats with 8 in Spirit Plus Business Class and 130 in comfortable coach.
