Cayman Islands based business conglomerate dms Organization Ltd. has hired more Caymanians.
Andres Webb has been appointed as a junior network administrator in dms Organization’s IT team, providing technical support to all dms staff , after completing a Bachelors degree in Computer Science at Coker College in South Carolina in July.
Mr. Webb also holds an Associates of Science Degree in Physical Sciences from The Community College of the Cayman Islands.
‘I’m enjoying this challenging role. The people at dms Organization are welcoming and supportive – it will be a great working environment to continue to learn and develop my skills,’ Mr. Webb said.
Three young Caymanians have taken on the position of part-time sales associate for the dms company The Athletes Foot, a footwear and apparel retailer at Queen’s Court Plaza on Seven Mile Beach.
One includes Jerad Ebanks, a graduate of John Gray High School, who works in the store while he continues to work as a full time fireman for the Cayman Islands’ Fire Service.
Ashleigh Miller and Chanelle Ramoon have taken on the role while they complete their studies at JGHS. Previously Ms Miller worked as a sales clerk for Black Pearl at Grand Harbor. Ms Miller is a member of Youth to Youth, a community youth group which campaigns to help other young people choose and maintain a drug-free lifestyle.
Chanelle Ramoon was employed at the sports retail store following a successful period of work experience as a marketing assistant for dms’ marketing division, BrightIdeas. Ms Ramoon is also an active member of the community, and volunteers for the non profit organization Cayman Against Substance Abuse.
