Carlos Pimentel has been appointed as a new partner in the Cayman Islands office of Appleby Spurling Hunter.
Mr. Pimentel joined the partnership 4 May.
Mr. Pimentel joined Appleby Spurling Hunter in 2003 as a member of the Trust Practice Group having practised at Maples and Calder from 2001. In 2004 he was promoted to Counsel and Local Practice Group Head.
He practised previously at the Chancery Bar in England in the Chambers of Geoffrey Vos QC at 3 Stone Buildings, Lincoln’s Inn and has more than 15 years of legal experience advising on trust law and trust structures and representing clients in multi-party trust litigation.
Carlos was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 1990 and is also admitted to practice in the Cayman Islands and the British Virgin Islands.
He is a member of STEP and the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists and was recently appointed as Secretary of STEP Cayman Islands.
