After a recent outbreak of the potentially fatal parvovirus, the Cayman Islands Humane Society, in partnership with Island Veterinary Services, is offering free parvovirus vaccinations for all dogs and puppies on the island.
The free clinic will take place on Friday from 10am to 5pm at Island Veterinary Services, Eden Centre, Walkers Road.
In addition to the vaccination, dogs will also receive a de-wormer, and those attended are advised that all dogs must be kept on a leash.
The Cayman Islands Humane Society urges everyone who has not had their pet vaccinated to attend and help combat the spread of this deadly virus, whilst keeping your own pet safe.
For information call the Humane Society 949-1461 or Island Veterinary Services on 949-0787.
