Thanks to a donation from FirstCaribbean, the CICC has produced an educational brochure to inform teenagers in the Cayman Islands about the perils of violent relationships.

The brochure, titled Dating Violence – What Teens Should Know About Abusive Relationships, contains informative sections ranging from how to recognise dating abuse to how one can help a loved one who is caught up in an abusive partnership.

‘It is vital for teens and young adults to know the warning signs of a potential abusive relationship and how to seek help,’ Estella Scott, former Director of the CICC said in a press release.

‘We are truly grateful to FirstCaribbean for sponsoring this brochure, which will allow us to reach many persons throughout our Islands.’ _________________
