Mothersill seventh in World Cup 200m

Cydonie Mothersill placed seventh in the women’s 200 meter dash at the World Cup track and field meet at Athens, Greece on Sunday with a 23.50 second clocking.

She was a member of the Team Americas women’s 4 x 100 meter relay team which won the event on Saturday in a world-leading time of 42.26 seconds.She was joined by Aleen Bailey and Sherone Simpson of Jamaica, and Debbie Ferguson of the Bahamas on this squad.

Cydonie’s efforts made a substantial contrbution to the Team Americas women’s third place finish in the standings behind Team Russia and Team Europe.
