I just wanted to comment that one of the best times I have had was when we stopped in Grand Cayman, and a friend and I went on the Stingray City Tour.
It was an extraordinary experience and at no time did I feel that I was in danger.
Our tour guides told us how to interact with the stingrays, we fed them and they hung around us and brushed up against our legs while swimming, much as a cat would.
We had our pictures taken with the stingrays and the only thing the guides asked us not to do was to pick the stingrays up out of the water.
I even kissed one!
It was truly one of the coolest experiences of my life.
I am very sorry that Steve Irwin died, but it was a freak accident.
I am sure he would be the last person to want Stingray City to close down, given his love for creatures of all types.
I certainly hope that Stingray City does well in the future.
People need to understand they are not the killers they are sometimes made out to be.
