Disney bring cheer to hospital

The Cayman Island Health Services foyer rang joyously with the songs of Christmas cheer Tuesday morning.

The special Disney Christmas presentation welcomed everyone in the spirit of the season.

It was a moment to say thank you to patients and clients for supporting them throughout the year, said Lizzette Yearwood acting chef executive officer in her welcome speech.

Visitors met with members of the Health Services team, enjoyed festive music provided by the St. Ignatius School Band, refreshments and waved to Disney characters Minnie and Mickey.

‘The Health Services highly values and appreciates the support of the community in our continuing efforts to deliver high quality patient care.

‘I am pleased that our friends at Disney Cruise Lines have agreed to partner with us again for this special presentation.

‘Thanks to Mr. Mark Witko, Community Relations manager for Disney Cruise Lines and his entire team for their involvement in this event,’ said Ms Yearwood.
