The Cayman Islands Fire Service is helping to keep Christmas wishes in the hearts of all Cayman’s children with its annual Kids Christmas Party.
On Saturday at the Airport Park, the service will present an afternoon of Christmas cheer for children from all walks of life. Music, food and drinks and a surprise visit from Santa Claus will ensure young ones from newborns to pre-teens get a fun, magical Christmas experience.
The afternoon is aimed at giving children from less-fortunate surroundings a taste of Christmas magic and, according to Cayman Islands Fire Service sub-officer Ricardo Charlton, eyes will be wide from the fun and play.
‘It is important that children believe in the spirit of Christmas. Tough times can make that difficult and hopefully, with this party, as many children as possible will feel touched by the holiday,’ said Mr. Charlton.
Paramount Group heads the list of partners who have helped make the event possible. Through a donation of funds and radio time, Paramount Carpets and Vibe 98.9 FM are spreading the word that Christmas magic is available to all.
‘We are a family at Paramount, so we understand the importance of families and children at this time of year,’ said Searlina Bodden of Paramount Group. ‘The Paramount Group is proud to support such a noble event. Congratulation to the Fire Service for being outstanding corporate citizens.’
Other partners who made the day possible are Lillian’s Restaurant, Hydes and Sons, Crusader International, Young World Fashions, Paul Bodden Heavy Equipment, Watler’s Metal Products, Party Land, Hurley’s, Foster’s, Maedac, Caribbean Gourmet, DJ Ralph, Hew’s Supplies and Party Mart.
