The much anticipated playoffs for the 2006/2007 CUC Primary Football League begin on Saturday, January 6 with the quarterfinals of the U-11 Champions Cup, U-11 Consolation Cup, U-9 Champions Cup, and the U-9 Consolation Cup.
All playoff games, including the finals, take place at the Annex Field in George Town.
The quarterfinal games begin at 9:00 a.m.
U-9 games are 20 minutes per half and U-11 games are 30 minutes per half. There must be a winner for each game and if the score is tied at the end of regulation, extra time will be played with two 10-minute halves (no golden goal). If the score is still tied at the end of extra time, penalties will decide a winner (best out of three and then sudden death).
The winners of the quarterfinals will advance to the semi finals on Saturday, January 13. Times for the semi final games will be confirmed during the week prior to January 13.
The winners of the semi finals will advance to the finals on Saturday, January 20. Times for the finals will be confirmed during the week prior to January 20. A third place game in the U-9 and U-11 Champions Cup between the losers of the semi finals will take place during the week prior to the Closing Rally (which takes place on Saturday, January 27). Venue, dates and times for the third place games will be confirmed and teams will be notified at a later date.
