Indeed, Caymanians must stay the course with the rollover policy.
I remember well during the 1970s when it was common practice to hire Caymanians onto the banking Industry at an entry level position for $50 per week!
And it was almost impossible to get a promotion as there was always an expat receiving the promotion.
Of course at that time management was in the hands of expats; therefore all the top positions and the top salaries were given to them.
It was unbelievable to see the disparity.
Caymanians must never let control of their country or their country’s workforce be taken out of their control. It can be done!
Cayman is too small and fragile a nation to allow it. Like it or not, the rollover has to stay!
