State Street 13U Five-A-Side Program Comes to Close

The State Street 13U Five-A-Side program, held at the King’s Sports Centre wraps up this week, as the kids close out a small but successful indoor clinical program. program which was sponsored by both State Street and Burger King has been in operation for the past 12 weeks, offering the 13 registered members a chance to experience the much faster indoor game. Athletic Director, expressed his gratitude to several instrumental parties, including sponsors State Street, Burger King, The Department of Youth & Sports, and Coach David Stewart.

“Coach Dave did an excellent job with these kids. dedication to youth sports is impeccable, and we look forward to bringing him back in the future”, said Mr. Singh. asked his opinion of the 13U program, Coach Stewart had this to say, “I thoroughly enjoyed volunteering as a coach. The kids really got into the indoor experience. Passing the ball off the boards added a new dimension to the traditional game. And no one complained about the heat! Disappointing that we didn’t have more participation.”
