The 1st leg of the Cable and Wireless Summer Sevens Series the Heineken Sevens was won by the Bmobile national team who beat the Don Fosters Dive Iguanas by a score of 38 – 21 in the final in front of a huge crowd at the SSG on Saturday evening. This gives the Bmobile National team five tournament points in the 2007 series. The day was hosted by Ireland and traditional food, live music and dancing was enjoyed by all after the conclusion of the finals. Nine teams competed in the two divisions with six teams in the Premier league and three in the social division which was won by the ReMax Dreamfinders. This was the 26th annual Heineken sevens the worlds longest Heineken sponsored event worldwide.

Winter touch action moved into round 3 where the Butterfield Butterfingers took over the top of the table from the Dark N Stormies and the Walkers Blue Iguanas notched up their first win of the tournament. (latest standings and results attached)
