We have been coming to your island for 20 years. I believe the biggest problems for long term visitors are the airport and airfares. I just flew from Michigan to Miami for US$250. Cayman costs three or four times that amount.
I suggest airport expansion be completed as soon as possible and then bring in low cost airlines to get airfares down to US$300 (family of four US $1,200).
Then visitors will stay for a week or two not just four hours.
