The Cayman Islands Brewery has launched its new beer, Caybrew.
Caybrew is a full-bodied premium lager with a crisp, clean hop finish.
The green bottle features a blue and red design, with the word Caybrew in bold letters across the front and the lager beer of the Cayman Islands around its edge.
The Caybrew logo is a graphic representation of the Cayman Islands’ national tree, the Silver Thatch Palm and three red stars depicting each of the country’s islands.

Mr. Allen Chu Fook, General Manager of the Cayman Islands Brewery said the company was thrilled to deliver a 100 per cent Cayman-made product to the bars and liquor stores of the islands, states a press release.
‘Our beer is the freshest on the Island as it’s produced right here in Grand Cayman,’ he said.
‘We have worked very hard at perfecting our brew to ensure the product we deliver is to the highest international standards.
‘We are delighted with the final product and believe the market will embrace the new lager beer of the Cayman Islands.
‘The Silver Thatch Palm has played an important role in the lives of Caymanians since the first settlers arrived on the islands.
‘It’s part of Cayman’s natural heritage, as well as part of the landscape, and is endemic to the Cayman Islands, so it was an obvious choice for us when considering the design of our logo.’
The Our Islands. Our Caybrew represents everything that is great about the Cayman Islands, of the Cayman way of living, Mr. Chu Fook said.
‘The residents of Cayman take passionate pride in their islands – its sporting teams, heroes, community, bars and restaurants, events, friends and family, heritage, culture, businesses and food,’ he said.
‘And now we have our own Cayman-made beer to be proud of and to call our own.
‘While of course we invite visitors to Cayman to try Caybrew, our real reason for brewing this new beer is for all residents of the Cayman Islands.’
The Cayman Islands Brewery is approximately 12,000 square feet and is on a three-acre site on Shamrock Road, Grand Cayman.
Construction of the brewery was undertaken by Hadsphaltic International and project management of the building works undertaken by BCQS, with the graphic and design work being completed by Tower Marketing – all local Caymanian companies.
After a year of preparation including a multi-million dollar overhaul to the brewery and the installation of bottling and canning facilities the beer was ready to be put on the market.
CIB has worked along side Brewtech GmbH, a German consultancy firm that specialises in the design and construction of breweries and modernisation of existing plants. Brewtech GmbH assisted in the design and construction of the Cayman Islands Brewery and the development of Caybrew.
